What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, embedded scripts) used on the Homey web application — the sign-in pages, the client portal, the agent and law-firm workspaces and our public property pages. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we use personal data more generally.
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Some are essential for the app to work at all; others are only set with your permission.
Your choices
The first time you visit we show a consent banner. Nothing other than strictly necessary cookies is set until you answer it, and declining is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time:
- Use Cookie settings at the foot of any page to reopen your preferences.
- Clear cookies in your browser. Your consent is stored in a cookie, so we will ask you again on your next visit.
Strictly necessary
These are required for Homey to work and for keeping your account secure. They do not need your consent and cannot be switched off.

We also load a small number of services without cookies that are part of delivering the app: Google Maps for address lookup, Sentry for error monitoring, and web fonts. None of them set cookies on our domain.
Functional
Set only if you allow functional cookies, except embedded video (see below). They power features that are useful but not essential.

Embedded video is not yet gated behind this choice — a video loads (and the provider may set its own cookies) whenever a law firm has added one to their profile page, whatever you choose here. We are working to bring it in line with the other services on this page.
Analytics
Set only if you allow analytics cookies. They help us understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We never record what you type, and page addresses are stripped of anything that could identify a case.
